“All of Hue”

[A message of Royal importance

Forewarned more than once

A judgment to come against us all, yet applause is all that I’ve received

See that the clock does not tick against you

A word meant to change lives instead of raise eyebrows

Down with the Roman Coliseum

Who needs it?

Too many seek to be entertained]

A nation divided

Cursed in silence to lie the driest of bones

Broken and scattered within the valley of death

The steps of a prophet who walks in the spirit to lift them

Given a word by the Most High to rise and stand

“Son of man

Can these bones live?”

Lord knows

My hope for all of hue who suffer the same

Descendants of slaves who were chained and taken to foreign lands

Tending as field hands and handmaidens

The shame of our past

Slain at the hands of those who rule over us

Something that history repeats

Identity fraud
