“Panic”

Ring the alarm

This is a bomb

This is a storm they forewarned

You missed the calm

“Honey! Get to the Car!”

Almost forgot the children

Too late for saving the dog

So sorry; We’ll miss him

This isn’t your typical flame

Shit came in an instant

The rush of a loud “BANG!”

Broken glass from the buildings

What part of this is a game?

You’re playing on borrowed time

Humanity crossed the line…..

Death by design is how I see it

America’s dream shattered to pieces

Weep if you must

The lust of the flesh is cash in excess

A debt that is never assuaged from cradle to grave

We’re slaves to bank interest

Minimum wage

Tension

Political rage

A venomous day we live in

Kill in the name of…

Fill in the blank

State, Religion, Hate, Division
